I haven't been following the trial because it'd probably be bad for my blood pressure, but... yeah, sounds about right. Defense lawyers engage in some truly despicable tactics to get their client off, and in a trial like this I'd expect a LOT of victim-blaming and slut-shaming in an effort to discredit the witnesses. Because chances are, there's more than one juror who thinks yeah, if Diddy was so bad, why did you stay with him, blah blah blah gold digger blah blah.

That's exactly how the OJ Simpson trial went.

It's so disheartening.

there's a difference between reasonably defending your client because it's your job.. and just full on... drinking his kool aid, buying his bullshit.

I feel so bad for the victims, Cassie,, Mia.. Jane. I hope they can have peace going foreword.

And I just really hope society can learn to have better understanding of things like mental illnesses and the signs of abuse and how trauma effects people so we can help victims instead of judging them.
