Most series there’s one or two people I know I like and over the course of the episodes I find a new appreciation for at least one of the others.

This was the first time I didn’t have a particular fondness for any of them and having watched a few episodes, I’m not laughing much and don’t feel especially won over by anyone.

Could be that the vibe has changed or I’ve had enough of the format. Could be a set of comedians whose comedy doesn’t fit my sense of humour. Could be that I’m a bit grumpier than usual these days.

There have definitely been series I skipped for just that reason. It just didn't click with me. I was always kind of sad about it but watching just ended up be a chore I didn't enjoy. I probably have only watched about 50% of the series to date. I'm enjoying the most recent, but I do agree it has a very different tone and I find myself thinking "wow, they're really running out of task ideas" pretty often, even though I do enjoy the tasks.

You mean this current season? I like the cast overall, but Jason's exaggerated destructive American persona doesn't vibe with me that much. It seems too put on and out of place. Love him and Stevie though, I hope we'll see more team tasks.

Overall, the show seems overloaded to me. The TM house, the tasks and even the contestants in a way have become too elaborate. I prefer the simplicity of "impress the mayor" to the overly construed tasks. I still love a lot of the tasks - the cape & pillow one from this series was hilarious - but it has lost a bit of it's charme to me
