Oh, FFS. I'm not condoning sex between very young people and older people because I think oftentimes there's an imbalance of 'power;' etc, but in this case, it's really just a pointless technicality. How do you know that someone 17 is SO much less mature than someone 19? The rules are there for a reason and I think they're sensible to a degree, but pretending age alone determines responsibility and maturity is insane. I just cannot believe how Puritanical everyone's being about this, especially other ONTDers. The internet is full of people who lie and decieve in order to take advantage of others, and sometimes those people are legitimately dangerous. Eli's harmless, and he was completely upfront and honest about himself what he thought/felt about everything. It was all in good fun. I don't know how many times I'm gonna have to say this, because I'm gonna defend this shit to the death. I just have a weird feeling that if this were reversed and it was a bunch of young men sending semi-n00dz to an older female celebrity, somehow that would be seen totally differently. I'm just getting a real sense of misogyny in this wank. Since when are women not allowed to be overtly sexual, especially when it's their choice entirely and no one's getting hurt? I haven't heard a single person say they regretted sending photos or talking to him, not one. It was JUST A LAUGH. God.

I feel you. People seem to believe a woman should strictly walk this line of not being too sexual but just enough not to be considered a "prude". Any woman who strays from this must obviously have some sort of metnal hang up. The misogynistic slut-shaming is simply appalling. But I disagree about what would happen if the genders were reversed; rather, people would ask what a female celebrity did to warrant such action. D:
