I think seeing it in a theater would have murdered my eyes.

But I feel that way about the first Dr Strange. It’s the only 3D movie I’ve seen that was worth the (literal) headache.

If you're serious, maybe you could. I know you can definitely rent out a theater, and you can pay for a license to show it in a public venue ($250-$350 were the numbers I saw), but a lot of theaters have converted to digital, so chances are, you would just get a DVD or Blu-Ray to play on the theater's system.
