An old craftsman or a victorian, none of this modern open plan bs. Something with good bones, nothing made in the last 50 years or so, since they cut so many corners on material (my sister had her house built: the vents rattle, it's hard to keep cool, and even though it's huge you can hear every sound from the other end so there's no privacy.) At least two bathrooms, with enough room to put in a bath that will fit an actual adult under the water. With a pantry, a garage, and hopefully a mud room. Maybe a basement.

Re: open plan BS - Hear, hear. I like having ROOMS, you guys. Separate rooms for separate things. I don't want my kitchen to be open to my living room and everything else. If it were up to me, I'd want one of those huge kitchens that's far away from the common areas of the house, with a door that shuts.
