Are you looking at toxic ships or soft ones OP? Because I have plenty of soft ships and cute, vanilla stuff is like 90% of the fic/art with a bit of toxic stuff because people want that sometimes too. If anything I have a harder time finding toxic stuff for my toxic ships because people want to uwu-fy those more for some reason.

on one hand, they all just got cheaply re-released for current consoles so if people want to play them Now In the Age of Discourse (whatever that means) they sure will.

on the other...they're not really appealing games even if you like fighting games. I can't even be arsed to finish one, let alone the other seven.

I remember it as a more subconscious thing, that their minds didn’t integrate into the program properly because of some underlying sense that things were too uncannily perfect.

But maybe that’s just an interpretation I made up. I’ve only seen it twice and the second time was at least a decade ago.
