I am so incredibly sad about my timing in life. I finally have savings but I still don't make enough to get a loan that could afford even a shitty house in my area. Fucking housing crisis and work from home people that drive up the prices :(

Can't think of anything big. There's things I'd buy if I won the lottery or something for the kicks but nothing I can say I really really want. Most big ticket items like houses come with extra costs, risks, and responsibilities like property taxes and upkeep which I'm not sure I'm up for bothering with on my own.

Given the choice, perhaps a private jet or helicopter but maintenance wouldn’t be cheap. I would like a luxury apartment too. Everything else people seem to like (yatchs, watches, cars, AI tech…) don’t interest me much.

A swimming pond. I'd say a house, but I have one, it's just disintegrating and I can't afford repairs, much less to bring it up to code.

I'd say an induction stove, but my house's wiring and circuit breakers are too old and would melt/explode if I plugged one in. I want to get rid of my gas appliances and get solar, but I can't even fix the holes in my roof.

I'm fortunate enough to own a house, but if money was no longer an objection, living in one would be a dream. After providing it with modern amenities, of course.

I don't know that there is like one single dream project I have. Mostly that would be trips?

I mean, if I had all the money and could do what I want, no bills or anything, I'd buy a huge house and turn it into a cat's wonderland.

A huge estate. I'm talking at least a hundred acres of wooded AND farmland, preferably with a river running through it. Or a lake, maybe. Large, rambling house that's big enough to have company and yet not feel like you're on top of one another, but small enough to be cozy and comfortable. Big vegetable garden and fruit orchards, with several gardeners to do all the work. Cottages tucked here and there for guests who want privacy and quiet.

A custom-build house with a library room and a turret and a big, curved cobblestone driveway and beautiful landscaping. Those Exquisite Surfaces parquet floors and a music room. Just an amazing house I could dream up with a good architect is what I'd like.

I have a very basic starter house and I'm grateful for it, but I'd like THAT.

A brand new car that is reliable and easy to take care of and has good gas milage

What is annoying you lately?

My neighbor has been riding his four wheeler back and forth on our street. We are in the middle of town. What is exciting about this to you??? There are no hills or any kind of offroading. You are just going back and forth on a paved road.

The other person's insurance refused to answer the calls of the rental company, so the rental company billed me. Now I have to deal with that.

Also just generally in pain. I'm doing better than I was last week, mostly due to taking friday off and getting some sleep.

Other things that are annoying me are political-related.

I work in logistics and I'm so tired of my bosses not believing me when I tell them a container has to leave by DATE to get to a customer by DATE. And then when it doesn't arrive on time because they decided to send it later, they complain. I KNOW HOW LONG CONTAINERS TAKE! I'VE BEEN DOING THIS FOR FIVE YEARS!!

Also, this one is a bit whiny. But I can't stand when you are nice to someone on the internet and they are just an asshole back for no reason. If you don't want me to respond, just don't respond back (or post on my thread).
