Yeah, for me easy mode is a way to skip the stress and stop concentrating on the pure mechanics, so that I can actually follow and enjoy the story.

In normal mode I’ll take the shortest route I can from start to finish, just to escape. In easy mode, I can explore and enjoy the story.
