Once I hit my early 30s I just stopped gaming and watching TV.
I encountered a lot of my friends when I was a prolific gamer or still heavily into "geek culture" and now we just don't have almost anything in common. We are still good friends, but sometimes we really have nothing to say to each other and that breaks my heart a little bit.
I sometimes wish I could be that person again, but nope. That stuff now bores me to death.
(Now in my mid 30s I'm a basic bitch whose main interests are reading, language learning and nature/urban sketching)
