Look, I'm a lesbian. I have a lot of queer friends. Some of them are in fandom, like me. Some of them sometimes say stuff like "I hate when people see X only as the bottom, it's so REGRESSIVE" and ??? DO YOU NOT KNOW GAY PEOPLE? Sure, a lot of us switches, but a lot just don't and it's perfectly normal???
I'm a bit ashamed of this, but I seriously doubt the intelligence and social skills of those friends...
