Another anon- I am not a trekker and only know about that episode from seeing jokes about it online, and I came to the same conclusion as you and previous anon, after a few seconds puzzling it out.

No, I think that's the joke. That episode is infamous in fandom because of the goofy plot: Dr. Crusher's grandmother passes away, and she inherits a candle that her grandmother kept with her. The candle is seemingly possessed by a ghost who claimed to be her grandmother's lover, a whole weird seduction thing happens.

So the joke is the idea of Dr. Crusher being visited by THREE spirits is that she's up for a night of spiritual sexual healing, lol.
