Honestly, I don't know. I like a lot of different dynamics with villains. Enemies to lovers if the author makes it work. It is tricky, but when it works it is good. Also hate sex. Also where they have to be together for some reason but still hate each other. Also where the villain seduces the hero to evil. I'll take it all.

I backed off Voldemort/Harry after a few years and got more into Lucius/Harry.

But honestly, while I like things to be IC, and I love it when an author makes a difficult dynamic work, a lot of times it is also just about the hot. And when I was younger, it pretty much just was about the hot. I was into villains, so I shipped them with the character I related to most. Also shipped both villains with Hermione too.
