Depression

(Anonymous) 2025-06-23 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
I have not left the house for days and in those days I pretty much just spent id laying in bed reading fic on my phone. I feel like shit and know I would feel better if I got up and did something or left the house but because I feel like shit I don't want to get up and do anything or leave the house.

Thankfully I have work tomorrow, which I am dreading, but at least it will get me up and showered and out of the house.

I hate depression. It's not always like this, sometimes my depression is just a lack of feeling or the typical suicidal ideation, but then there are these blob days and I hate them so much but can't seem to do anything when in the middle of it. I have an appointment with a dr to talk meds to see if anything will help with phases like this.

Oh hey, blob days is how my depression manifests too. Another thing to make sure is that your thyroid and your iron levels are where they ought to be. Both of these things, when they're out of whack, make blob days more frequent and harder to dig out of.

I hope you feel up to doing a little bit soon!
