Re: Vent thread, for all your venting needs

Sometimes it's not one big disaster that really gets me, it's the unending series of small to medium problems that all stress me out with no break to catch my breath and gird my loins for the next problem. I am just wound so damn tight right now because of personal health issues that needed and urgent care visit, this stupid heat wave that's forcing me to wonder if the ancient HVAC system will hold out or keel over and die on me at last while leaving me and my pets in danger of heatstroke, my dog getting sick and requiring an emergency vet visit and close monitoring to make sure he's recovering okay and worrying about how I'll pay for his care if he gets worse, a dirty house that needs a thorough vacuum and floor mopping while I'm too worn out to do it, a crazy work schedule that will wreck what vestiges of work/life balance I had, insomnia issues that mean I lie awake at night stressed out and exhausted before passing out and waking up exhausted...

Just. When does this ever quit? I daydream about winning the lottery, which wouldn't solve ALL my problems but it sure as hell would fix 99% of my problems.

Same. It's like one thing after another and another and another and it never stops
