For those wondering, Jerry Seinfeld had a teenaged high school student girlfriend when he was 39. It was legal because New York doesn’t have laws that protect minor children from adult sexual predators, just a minimum age of consent. She was chasing a celebrity and he got a kid as girlfriend so it was a win-win for them.

I'm not a fan of Seinfeld by any means. But I do feel like dating a 17-year-old high-schooler a few weeks from her eighteenth birthday and a month out from her graduation in a state in which the age of consent is 17 may be slightly different from being a pedophile.

It's so weird to be aggressive over Seinfeld secrets.

I'd make some quippy remark quoting the show but I didn't watch it enough to think of anything appropriate for the situation.
