I get it at work too, but it usually comes from the customers. They can be the loveliest people, but sometimes they leave and I feel like I know them better than some of my friends. Like they'll be buying some biscuits and they'll explain that they're for her 71-year old friend Martha, who lives in Coventry, but used to live in Suffolk, they used to share a flat together in college, they had a terrible falling out over a rhubarb crumble six months back and this is an apology gift.
