I have little patience for the people whining about how their ship "needs to be canon" because canon just doesn't live up to fanfiction. The stories I want to imagine are here, and the writers I want to heap admiration on are here.

So, people who come into fandom and pine over what canon creators may or may not wind up giving us just seem unspeakably ungrateful, ignoring what we can do for each other. Even when they get what they think they want, these fans are pathetic and their behavior makes them unpleasant to be around. And when they're trying to pressure paid creators to do what they want, no one who doesn't share their goal can stand them.
