This is one of my fav movies of all time so now I don't associate it with periods anymore, but I remember joking about that with my sisters when we first saw it around 2002-2003. Like we were doing zombie walks/runs when we were on our periods. It was so silly!

Because I heard people mention the movie before I saw any promotional material for it, I assumed it was a romantic comedy.

My brother told my sister it was a sequel to the Sandra Bullock movie 28 Days.

Ahaha, I am so glad I am not the only one!!!

Doesn’t help that I first saw the name of the movie in isolation - didn’t know anything about the story - so thought, “28 days later… she had her period???”
