Going to see FOTR at the cinema when I was a teenager basically made me fall completely in love with Tolkien (yes, I only read the books after seeing the first film when it first came out...my mistake for not reading them sooner!) Anyway, I completely get this. Falling for something for the first time in the moment can't be replicated.
