I only saw RotK in theatre and the only thing I remember is the multiple fade to blacks at the end and how badly I needed to pee and it kept lying to me about being done. xD

I remember sitting through the opening credits and prologue and how excited I was, OP! Then the first sight of The Shire and I got a little teary-eyed. Rewatches aren't quite the same, but I think I'll always be fond of this trilogy.

Going to see FOTR at the cinema when I was a teenager basically made me fall completely in love with Tolkien (yes, I only read the books after seeing the first film when it first came out...my mistake for not reading them sooner!) Anyway, I completely get this. Falling for something for the first time in the moment can't be replicated.

I still have the giddy love for the movies, but I get you OP, I'd love to be able to see them all again with fresh eyes. I keep trying to catch the extended versions in cinema's where I am but sadly I think that's passed now. :(

I feel this so much. I would love to re-experience LOTR. Star Wars too. Those movies are my happy place. But I still get joy every time I see them.

I would love that too. I knew next to nothing about LOTR before watching FOTR, that discovery of something new was such a special feeling, there's no way I can recapture that.

Oh man that sucks! I’ve never heard of them but checked out both those songs and they’re pretty solid! It seems like they’re a band that doesn’t produce just one type of sound, which can be a blessing and a curse for fans. That probably doesn’t help the fever dream aspect for you :/

Oh this a blast from the past, I remember really liking 'Miss Murder' but I'm not sure I heard much else by them, good fun though from what I recall.

I had several songs by them on some OC playlists and I really liked them but then my PC died and Itunes with it and I've since mostly listened to music via Spotify and totally forgot to add the songs to my favourites, so I think I'll go do that now. I had actually kind of forgotten about those, so thanks for the reminder!

Ooh, I haven't listened to AFI in a while! I'm gonna give this whole album a listen to now.

I had the opposite happen with MCR. I was crazy about them in high school (still am actually) and begged all my friends to listen to them, but they all said the music was too depressing and emo. When they announced their reunion, suddenly all those friends were hyped up and trying to get tickets and I was just wondering what happened. Had they secretly been listening to them the whole time or something?

I LOVE that robot. He was probably the only thing I liked in Rogue One. I didn't know he was in Andor. But, his appearance is not enough to get me to watch the show (I'm just not a Star Wars kinda person), but I appreciate that he made another appearance. Good for him.

With all the depressing news lately, here's one small good thing. I won my case today. My client is now a permanent resident and gets to get out of detention and go home to his wife and family and stay in the US. So thrilled for his family.
