I wouldn't.

Dying over breaking online social rules is insane . Even i sometimes find myself doing things i hate when other ppl do in the heat of the moment. Its part of being human and not perfect.

I don't think people should die for making an ass of themselves on the internet.

You have to consider everything that can be a lie though.

The issue with the question , especially if it results in people dying is .how would the rule be interpreted by whatever force is enforcing it.

Some context here but .as a socially awkward autistic person who interprets things wildly differently from other people. The idea of a social rule that you die if you break is a little scary to think about hence why I would not dare fuck with that.

Oh man, no. If no one could lie on the internet, it would be used by lots of people in power for really bad reasons.

"Hi, it's your government. We're imprisoning LGBT people. Anyway, u gay?"
"Hi, it's your bigoted parents. We're super fundie religious and will be immediately abusive to anyone who doesn't cohere to what we think is right. Anyway, u trans?"
"Hi, it's the police. Please tell us all your political opinions. Also, have you, your friends, or anyone you know been to a protest lately? Just curious"

You must tell the truth on the internet, or not answer which would answer it for them, or die. Not very good at all!

I don't think this necessarily had to be social rules, though people are taking it that way. Nobody said the rule couldn't be 'no fraud' or 'no meme coin scammers' or 'no catfishers' or 'no phishing emails' or something like that.
