Once you get to know the other intelligent ones in those spaces, you’ll all disappear to your own private spaces. Sometimes established selective groups welcome new members based on their contributions in the bigger spaces but I think it’s pretty uncommon. Unfortunately those bigger spaces are full of 26-37 year old American white suburban stay at home moms who think listening to podcasts and watching Netflix documentaries makes them experts. Their first response to a missing child is “my daughter is that same age, my mama heart can’t take this!” And they have a small rotation of similarly stupid shut to say for any other kind of case. “It’s the husband! He’s giving Chris Watt vibes” is a phrase I could happily never read again.
