Agreed! One great thing (the only great thing tbh) about kickstarter editions is how many offer artwork.

It’s really common though for fantasy authors to commission artwork and post it on their website. If I really love a series or the artwork, I’ll take the 20 minutes to make a version of the ebook with the artwork added in. But I’m also someone who will print the online maps on a format printer and hang it on my bedroom wall LOL It makes for cool decor but mostly it’s for easy reference.
