Honestly her comments on asexuals really pushed me into disgust for her. Like the majority of aces and aro's are out here trying to live their lives , hurting literally nobody. Often trying to avoid being bothered , harassed or what not. it costs NOTHING to just leave em alone

also for her comment making it like nobody cares and they're just volunteering this info, no people unfortunately care a LOT. I once casually mentioned to an uber driver my situation living with my brother and stuff and he immediately jumps into quizzing me about my brother's romance life or lack theorof and I'm trying to not give too much info bc frankly I find it weird that he CARES whether or not my brother has a girlfriend. Asexuals end up telling people probably because they get quizzed by people like this why they don't have a (often heterosexual) datemate or partner and why not.

Trans people are also just out there trying to live their lives. But her worldview involves a very set view of what men are and what women are, and anyone outside that she views as dangerous.

Her view of womanhood is that they are eternal victims who are miserable and always unhappy with being women. It's frankly harmful to cis women, too.

Oh very much so. As a cis woman who doesn't want kids and never did, I find gender essentialism of any kind super offensive. I am more than my sex organs and child-bearing ability, thank you very much.

Oh yeah I misspoke. I hated her transphobia especially as a nonbinary person with trans loved ones. but what I meant was her mockery of ace people pushed me deeper into disgust and more towards seeing her as a phobic bully targeting those who actually hurt nobody and are more often the victims of hurt

"Nobody cares" shows the person never went to school or has forgotten what it was like. Who has ever gone to school and not been pestered by at least one friend or nosy deskmate to tell them who they have a crush on. Not if they have a crush on anyone, but who they have a crush on.

There was a transphobic anon who would show up for JK Rowling discussions having to do with transphobia and proceed to defend her transphobia.

Not entirely sure OP is correct about that anon showing up when people comment on other objectionable things about Rowling, but maybe I missed it.

In this one from June 13 (fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/3224011.html?thread=1141810635#cmt1141810635), people in the comments barely said anything about Rowling at all, despite the warning.

In this one from July 4 (fandomsecrets.dreamwidth.org/3235378.html?thread=1142960434#cmt1142960434), people in the comments brought up slavery as it relates to elves, racism having to do with character names, and how the word muggle sounds in relation to Rowling. Again, despite the warning, transphobia was not brought up.
