I had to look up the author and then look up "innisgreen" and I am slightly disappointed that the books are all murder mystery/police procedurals and Innisgreen is the Sims. For some reason I thought Inisgreen would be the world she wrote in and you were talking metaphorically or something about creating characters and writing fic. Clearly I am not the target audience for this secret.

Honestly her comments on asexuals really pushed me into disgust for her. Like the majority of aces and aro's are out here trying to live their lives , hurting literally nobody. Often trying to avoid being bothered , harassed or what not. it costs NOTHING to just leave em alone

also for her comment making it like nobody cares and they're just volunteering this info, no people unfortunately care a LOT. I once casually mentioned to an uber driver my situation living with my brother and stuff and he immediately jumps into quizzing me about my brother's romance life or lack theorof and I'm trying to not give too much info bc frankly I find it weird that he CARES whether or not my brother has a girlfriend. Asexuals end up telling people probably because they get quizzed by people like this why they don't have a (often heterosexual) datemate or partner and why not.
