Doesn't she even outright say at some point that she would want to have kids someday if it weren't for the Games.

I think that a line in the book could have been written better, because it was something like "when he finally convinced me" and some people think that means Peeta pressured Katniss to have kids before she was fully healed enough from the trauma she went through. I think that was just badly phrased (Suzanne Collins is a great storyteller but frequently it was obvious that she needed a better editor) and readers need to remember these are characters and sometimes writers make mistakes, and everything else shows that wasn't the intended meaning behind the writing. I'm sure as characters they discussed things plenty and the "convinced" meant talking through her issues until she felt ready, which is probably the closest you can get to therapy in that world.
