YEAH, that's who I came down to say! Katniss being able to have children says a LOT about the changes they were able to make to their world and how STABLE the disbanding of the games has to be for her to make that choice.

In addition to the lack of reading comprehension in missing that her reason for not wanting kids is the games, I think a LOT of people really flatten her out. Because she's the action girl who can be prickly or put up walls, they can't accept that she's ALSO someone who can be nurturing-- as much as her mother checking out and leaving so much of Prim's care to her put a burden on her shoulders, she loved Prim more than anything, and the Katniss that we see caring for Prim is a Katniss who could love being a mother in a safer world!

I can't believe people miss all the meaning behind Katniss joining the Games in the first place without hesitation all in order to protect Prim from having to do it. She volunteered because she loved her sister, not because she loved fighting.
