Honestly... yeah. My hype for an upcoming thing that doesn't have a definitive date only lasts for so long before I lose interest.

Like, a movie that's coming out on a specific date? Yeah, I can stay excited for that, because I know exactly when I'm going to be able to see it. But something that's just nebulous? Eventually I'm just going to mentally check out.
