Saaaaame! Mentally I can't get past it. I always will mentally pause and the bold worlds will be emphasized and also slowed in my mind and it prevents me from focusing on the actual story because my mind catches on these emphasized words and the narrative won't be absorbed at all because I am distracted by the bold.

You never really know when it comes to celebrities' private lives. On a much smaller scale, I know a few people who are local/small time famous and their fans generally don't know a thing about the personal struggles or difficult situations behind the scenes. So I assume there's a lot I am not seeing with every famous person.

For my favorite celebrities, I just enjoy their work and public persona while knowing there's a whole side of them that I'll never get to see, which could be damn ugly. Of course it would hurt and be pretty disgusting to find out something awful like that they were involved in abusing people, I don't mean I would have no reaction! But I don't really expect any celebrity to be the same person they are in the public eye in their private life or think that I can "tell" who is more or less likely to be an abuser behind closed doors, with the cameras off. The Gaiman scandal blindsided long time irl friends of his, and you've surely heard many stories about beloved community members who no one suspected of beating their spouse until it came out, predators can keep that side of them very well hidden.

I guess that's all true. And Maybe I'm not cynical ENOUGH that there are celebrities who I genuinely can't see as being involved with that stuff.

My family makes pepporoni pasta. You fry pepperoni and garlic together in olive oil. Make some angel hair pasta. Dump all that into the pasta, add some parmesan cheese, and BAM. Easy dinner.
