Cannot wait to get my hands on these books so I can find out if they live up to the hype.

I hope the hype doesn't set the expectations too high! They're not like great literature or anything, but they are a lot of fun and very fast reads (imo).

Hopefully! I've been getting to get my library to order it since it can't be in libby. If they don't by Christmas, I'll probably get it then.

For me it was less about the hype and more that I noticed so many different kinds of people loving the series. I thought it sounded stupid but I needed a new series so I begrudgingly gave it a try. TBH, I didn’t like it. But something that happens at the very beginning stuck with me for months so I tried it again and tore through all seven books in about ten days.
I think it’s good. And weird. And not for everyone. But also worth giving a second and even third try if it doesn’t take the first time.
