That is standard for any doctor visit in my area. It is insanely frustrating that I'll get a huge fee if I'm 5mins late but then I have to sit in the waiting room for over an hour sometimes and that's just supposed to be normal and accepted. Ugh I hate the US medical state.

I kind of expect a half hour, maybe 45 minutes. But an hour and a half for a procedure where they have to give me anesthesia and stuff? That seems weird. Even if the doctor isn't ready yet, why wouldn't they take me back.

I'm hanging on to my doctor by tooth and nail. I've had experiences where my appointment was at 11am to check that my meds were still working, arrive at 10:45, seen the doc and am back out by 10:55.

A modern miracle! Definitely cling to them as long as possible.

Yes that is so infuriating. If they're going to charge me if I'm late, then they should lower their fee when THEY are late
