Probably my theoretical/AU interest in Charlie/Alastor in Hazbin Hotel

or Danielle/Valerie in Danny Phantom (preferably when both are older and the age gap is less of an issue)

There have been a lot of people who get weirdly pearl clutchy over Charlie x Alastor and i almost wonder if they don't realize don't consider that Charlie is an adult.

I once saw a rival shipper comment that Lucifer x Alastor was a "pedo ship" and i nearly choked laughing. Which one is the minor, the sinner who is physically 30-40 and chronologically almost 100 (since his death) or the guy that existed before earth (thus literally older than dirt), and has canonically been married and divorced and has an adult child?

The pearl clutching around Alastor ships I've seen is usually about him being supposedly ace (has that ever been confirmed?), which apparently makes any and all ships involving him automatically ~problematic. The fact that he's a sadistic psychopath is apparently fine though.

I love that someone called Lucifer/Alastor a pedo ship. I so want to know how they justify that one in their heads.

Idk but I noticed on their account they were a RadioStatic(Al/Vox) shipper sooo...yeah

If they're basing it on Lucifer's behavior ...,well big fat lol. Stayed Gone is basically Vox just throwing a hissy fit while Alastor mostly just prods him for his own amusement.
