Aren't literally 90% of the characters in this thing related to each other? Isn't it about literally one family?

Short of having Bruno hook up with the spouse of a relative, who the fuck is he supposed to be shipped with? The rats? The bald priest? The woman with the goldfish?

I've never watched this, but aren't most of the characters from the same family? Of course incest ships are more popular.

I'm not into any pairing for this movie but, yeah any ships that are going to exist for it will be incest because those are the main characters.

Also you made me go look on Ao3 out of curiosity and there seems to be a lot of wife/husband fic in the fandom too(2847 for Augustin/Julieta and 2477 for Felix/Pepa), though a quick look won't tell me how much of that is focused on those couples as ships.

Are you new to fandom? If I had thought about this fandom at all I would have automatically assumed it was all Bruno and a large percentage of incest shipping.

I haven't watched this, but the people on it are just so pretty. The Tolkien fandom often uses their images to represent Silmarillion characters, particularly elves. And it actually works well.
