The dynamic that fandom insisted the characters had in fic was never the dynamic they actually had onscreen, nor was it intended to be. MCU fandom really projects a lot onto the canon.

Personally, I liked that they were adults and behaved like it onscreen.

I got sick of the fic where everybody inexplicably plays Mario Kart, but I do like TowerFic in general.
