Fuuuuck Hanahaki. I hate it so much. I mean your kink is not my kink etc etc etc but omg I hate it so much.

Same with vampires. They're just boring to me. I like the vague idea of Sentinel/Guide AUs but I've rarely read any that were in character or interesting.

I also had Omegaverse and D/s world AUs. There are exceptions, but generally I hate the idea of biological assigned roles. I am all about choice and these just strip everything away and make people slaves to their bodies. I understand that's the whole draw for a lot of people, but it is a big nope for me. And they usually have icky gendered stereotypes hiding all over the place. Just not my thing at all.

Oh, I forgot to include Soulmate!AUs. For the same reason - stripping away choice. I want my characters to choose each other, not be shoved begrudgingly by Fate or whatever. Also I just don't like most of them because they are a lot of enemies to lovers, which I dislike. But also like it doesn't even make sense with soulmates. The whole thing just annoys me lol

I have to admit, I love an ABO fic. I'm lukewarm on soulmate AUs. Most are just meh.
