It would depend entirely on the specific cake ingredients.

Assuming it's a generally uniform cake made of typical ingredients and that the "3/4 of the whole" section that we're talking about is the roughly the same consistency and composition as the whole and can be considered a broadly representative sample, 3/4 of a pound cake contains about 300% of the calories in the other 1/4.
