I've always found the clipshow episodes for "Malcolm in the Middle" pretty fun to watch. They weren't just clips cut together. There were attempts at having a story for the episode, like when the boys have to go to therapy because they got in trouble. The other one was because Lois and Hal have to figure out what assets they're leaving to the boys in their will.
I guess in a YouTube world, compilations are a little more appreciated.

I myself found the season 3 opener for "The Sopranos" a favorite episode but a lot of fans don't like it and consider it a filler episode.
Same with the episode where Walter tries to find and kill a fly in the lab in "Breaking Bad". I really enjoyed that episode but I think it's considered a filler episode many watchers didn't like.
