Margo Robbie and Ryan Gosling were badly cast for the Barbie movie.

Half because they both have distinct features that mess with the "stereotypical version" of the dolls they were playing. They should have been way more generic-looking and you can't tell me that was unfindable in Hollywood.

Bigger half: THEY WERE TOO FUCKING OLD. You look at any Barbie history, she was billed as "The Teenage Fashion Model" from the very beginning, and on top of that explicitly stated to be 18, and as her matching accessory, so was Ken. These two look at least 30.
