I like some of his movies. I think he's good at building dread, but sometimes that falls apart in the climax or the denouement just doesn't feel like enough and I'm left vaguely unsatisfied and somewhat puzzled by why they chose to go in that direction.

For me, The Sixth Sense was good, The Village was okay, Signs was disappointing, The Happening was bad (but oddly fun to watch), Knock at the Cabin felt discordant, and Old was... weird.
