look, I love libraries and strongly advocate for using them first instead of last where available, I'd love for everyone to remember that free options exist and buying is a last resort, but I also have seen the state of American libraries these days. most are tragically underfunded and don't have even one copy of most recent books. I've tried to check out recc'd books a dozen times and none of the libraries in my local system have them.
