I hate that an annoying user that is popular on gaming forum I visit. She's a local celebrity. I removed some users from my friend list because they worship her so much. There's some other well known users but those are mostly known for their horny or troll takes so no one takes them seriously.

All the AMV getting removed from youtube. I had a collection of Bleach and SGA fandom vids, and now they're lost forever.

Fucking copyright killed so many amazing AMV's I hated it. I do remember a great site that preserved a lot of them, agh- I can recall what it looked like perfectly, but I can't actually remember what it was called.
I'll do some looking, see if I can find it, hell, if it even still exists, and I'll let you know.
Hopefully some of yours might still be there.

Unfortunately, for the life of me I don't even know where to look. There is https://www.animemusicvideos.org but it's not the site I was thinking of initially.

Also you could try, https://myanimelist.net/ but as much as I remember AMV's being listed back when I used it, I don't see any with a quick browse right now.
https://www.bilibili.tv/en/video/15102141 kinda tells you how I tried to look. I distinctly remember the site I'm looking for specifying this AMV as an overall winner for AMV's made in that year. (apparently 2006 Boston Expo if my search is to be relied on...) idk how to navigate that site, but I have come across it a few times when looking for things in the past?

The first site might help you best, sorry I couldn't be more help though. There is reddit and the archive, but other than that I guess I'm just pretty shit at searching for things unfortunately. Hopefully you come across something though.
Apparently Evanescence, Creed, and Seether, formally gave animemusicvideos a cease and desist order back in 2005 which lead to over 2000 videos being deleted, so if your AMV's had any of those bands songs then maybe skip the first link, idk. Best of luck if you do go for a deep dive though! (especially since I spammed the page with absolutely nothing, omg)

Really? I tend to be much more annoyed when they don't tag those things. A lot of my NoTP's tend to be popular side ships to my main, so the more the better I find. Especially when the side ship has a niche following, it makes it much more easier to find. Ntm, the type of side ship an author prefers generally (or at least used to i guess) tells more about the style and brand of a fic better than any info or tag generally does, I find.

I just wish there was a special tag category that makes it clear which the main CP and side CP is.

Generally the first tag is typically the main one for the most part. I find that most people in my main fandoms tend to tag ships as being minor or side in the tag itself. It does suck that it's not a universal thing, but by far I'd rather people use the relationship tag to tag all ships accurately, rather than find 1/3 of the fic being focused on something I have no interest in/particularly dislike.
I guess I'm lucky where I can't actually recall anything where I've been disappointed specifically because I was expecting a different paring to be the main focus. I tend to go through wayy too much fic on the daily though, so I might just not remember those specifically.

Yup, this is annoying as hell. I have a small ship in a big-ish fandom and I swear 80% of their fic is them being tagged as a non-existent side-pair for another ship and it's infuriating. Like the extra tags bit is where you can put side-ships without it turning up in that ships tag. That warns people if there's a Notp of theirs in it, and it doesn't flood the side-ships tag with fic that isn't ever focused on them.

I'm playing an early game from an indie developer I like, and it's fun, but all the swearing is censored, and some of the main characters swear a LOT. Even words like hell are censored. I have no idea why they made that decision for a game that runs on dark humor, but it's so jarring. Their later games are much more lighthearted and don't censor swearing.

FF7 Cid cureses with %$#$^&. Maybe developers copied this.

The censored swearing in this game is written like f**k and h**l, so they're not copying that style.

It's most likely a rating adjustment? Unless it's rated R or M, the censorship might have been the best way the creators thought they could do without delaying the game extensively and still maintain a PG/more generalized rating, especially with a dark humour plot going on?
That would annoy me as well though, mostly because I find that pretty much all excessive swearing comes off as childish or hurtful to the overall writing. Even censored, if every other word has @/$&*# or whatever, that'd just be both distracting and seem like the writers had no clue at all.

It could have something to do with the website they're selling the game on, I guess. The devs are their own publisher and it doesn't need to have a rating other than "not 18+" since it's not for any official gaming system, so it's not an issue with other parties there.
