Re: Different versions of the same thing

No because I don't have money to spare, ahaha. I also grew up much poorer than I am now, so I can't mentally bring myself to waste money on variant editions, whatever the are. I usually buy stuff that I'm going to re-read or re-play etc. Another version I'm never even going to open? What a waste of money AND SPACE.

However, I've bought a few books in the different languages I speak/read (4), but they are more studying tools than collections (I do read them), so I don't really count them.

I grew up poor as well and definitely understand where you're coming from....and yet. lol It isn't for everything, but once in awhile there is just something I want ALL THE THINGS of and I don't know why. Tbf to little selective hoarder me, I will actually open them and enjoy each version. I'm not an unboxed/sits on a shelf kind of collector.

AYRT
I get you! Growing up poor gave me a sense of insecurity about food so I'm a bit of a canned/frozen food hoarder (not that much... but more than the average person where I live) so I prioritise it first and foremost. Then I spend all the money I can spare on pens and ink since my primary hobby is calligraphy and art.
So I still have hoarding tendencies, but not for variant fandom stuff. In my case they'd sit untouched on my bookshelf so it'd be only a waste for me. :/
