I had a crush on a fandom friend a long time ago. I would always be pissed off that they would never agree to do anything together IRL. We liked the same things! We lived in the same area! Why not??

...in retrospect? I was 16, they were 20. They were absolutely making the right call refusing to meet up with a minor with a crush on them. I was simply too young to know it at the time.
