This is a really, really weird take. Like, DS9 definitely had the most complex Trek characters, the ones who were the most flawed, in realistic ways, and who did both good and bad things. But Odo a fascist? What?

Wow, that's a super, super shallow and simplistic take. We got to see plenty of Odo in the Cardassian occupation aiding the Bajorans. We also got to see him working with the Cardassians. Like many things on DS9, it was a lot more complicated than that, and apparently too complicated for you.

... is this secret just casually ignoring the fact that Odo was a full-on test subject and torture victim by a scientist who loved the idea of sentient goo but not so much the treating him as a person? While he was a cop, if I remember right. (It's been a few years.)

It really just means that the writer's room did a good job of making him a complex character with lots of flaws and good points. He's sympathetic so many viewers won't default to "he's a fascist."

I'm not sure you know what a fascist is, by definition it's: "A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, a capitalist economy subject to stringent governmental controls, violent suppression of the opposition, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism."
Odo takes the law into his own hands, to the point he readily worked under the Kardasians, and unto the fact that the federation kept him employed despite that fact. He'd have set up, or simply executed Quark a long time ago if he was fascist. And while he has a severe set of laws, many he unlawfully uses his abilities/the system to fulfill, calling him an absolute fascist is wrong.
He's not "one of the good ones" going by cop alone, but given his species trends towards evil and whatnot, I'm pretty sure that's what they're talking about when they say that.
Also, by liking a flawed character, that doesn't mean supporting his occupation.

Oh, that does sound like fun! I've never gotten into WoW myself, though it seems like something I'd enjoy, except I hate having to find new friends online and try to get our schedules to match :p.

Wait really? Isn't the whole point of a mmorpg the whole massive multiplayer part? Personally, I'm not a fan at all of multiplayer games, but that's why I don't play WoW.

Same OP. I used to skip the dungeons whilst levelling and go back to them once I was a high enough level that I could solo them, so being able to have an NPC party is great!

Yeah, it was refreshing at the beginning, with the woman being the scientific logical one. But you can only do that for a few seasons before it just became "the woman is always wrong" again.

The Face the Future movie sucked so hard when the fucking spaceship took off and she lifted her head RIGHT AFTERWARD so she MISSED IT. What the fuck.

She spent half the film in alien stasis and didn't even peep the ship.

(I like the movie and series overall, but I agree with OP of this secret.)
