Before I got into the SGA fandom, I was so utterly convinced that no one else found Rodney McKay hot.

Not a character, but I've always loved Austin Matthews and found him super attractive. I remember that any time I voiced this however, that I always got the strangest look in response. I never even got it until someone tried to point out that he wasn't good looking, and while I admit it's hard to find a great picture of him, I love that man, and no one can tell me differently!

I'm visiting my sister this weekend! We are going to a Punk Rock Flea Market tomorrow. And Sunday will be a PPV WWE event. Monday, I'll be driving home.

I'm going out for work-drinks on sat evening, no pressure to drink as we're getting food as well so it's a social thing more than anything, and I like my co-workers so it should be fun.

Sunday is a veg-out day before the new work week and I'll be raiding in the evening after an afternoon of light chores, mostly a little bit of cleaning.

That flea market sounds amazing! How do you find out about such things? I joined local fb groups that are supposed to be about events around us but instead it’s “Watch out for these solicitors,” “who drives the Lamborghini in town?” and “Fat Sal’s Pizza is a joke ever since Sal died [in 1987]”.

I’m not doing anything fun or productive this weekend. I’m still recovering from surgery a few weeks ago so I’ll be focused on the ideas part of all my hobbies.

Nothing special, probably try and go to the farmers' market (some mornings I just don't wake up early enough to avoid the parking hell).

Probably continuing to read another book because I just finished one before the weekend. Watching Alaskan Bush People on Netflix and Jeremiah on Prime.

Punk Rock Flea Market sounds delightful.

After a lot of rains we are having surprisingly hot weather. We are going to an art festival outside the city with friends. Probably it's going to be crowded but oh well.

Also planning to see some art things I was planning to but I was watching serials and playing online backgammon instead lol.

Punk rock flea market sounds metal (ha) as hell! I hope you guys enjoy it!

My little sister is over for a sleepover and we watched movies (first time seeing KPop Demon Hunters! 10/10) - tomorrow is yoga class and cooking for a church potluck on Sunday, and then Monday is probably chores and reading fanfic or some other chill activity.

I still think there is some real potential for a Phoenix Wright/Tiger & Bunny Crossover. Like, the characters in the AA games are wacky as hell already so I could really see them being lawyers in the Tiger & Bunny universe.

... but you wouldn't mind if someone else made them for you! As always, including the fandom and full character names is a big help, and while I'm definitely not the world's greatest expert at secret design, I'll try my best. Please note that long comment secrets can be difficult to make with a good end result. Most of the time, I'll give it a shot but might not be able to make secrets where the text is so lengthy that I can't fit it into the limited space.

I'm trying something new with the comment secret thread and extending the deadline to comment until Sunday's post goes up. I'll monitor this thread until then, and hope the extra day will be more helpful for everyone.

TW for suicide/self harm

I'd totally read more suicidal/self-harm fic if the topic were dealt with more realistically. By which I mean character exploration fic where adult characters deal with alcoholism or gambling addiction or reckless debt or working to death or pursuing relationships they know will be destructive or diving headfirst into cults... but it's always cutting or wrist slitting and whatnot.

Most of the secrets I submit aren't mine. They're someone's real secrets, ones that people tell me in private about others like bitching about mutual fandom acquaintances, but not technically mine.

I would never actually tell anyone or reveal sources ofc. It's an interesting way to see what other people think about situations.
