I find most cutesified terms in fandom to be annoying as fuck, sunshine/grumpy, moon/sun, etc, because they squash down nuanced characters into simplified shitty versions of themselves that aren't even a vague reflection of their canon counterparts.

Old man Yaoi has been added to my list of annoying terms on the very simple basis that most of the ships I see it used for aren't even fucking old! A pair of 40 year old men is not old, come back to me when it's actually grandpas, not still conventually handsome men that just aren't 25.
