(Anonymous) 2025-08-30 04:59 am (UTC)(link)Star Wars came out with at least a PG rating. Lego is what you buy for a toddler, there's bound to be a downgrade there.
I know nothing about Star Wars, or even the Lego Movies themselves, but I can guess that at best, these movies are for parents who want to bring their children to a show they wont want to tear their eyes out at, but still be engaging enough for the kids who have no clue what Star Wars even is.

(Anonymous) 2025-08-31 06:51 am (UTC)(link)... go into any store, the only thing that keeps Legos being advertised to babies is their chocking hazard. Just because it complements an adult audience, doesn't mean it's meant for them any more than Dexter's Lab or the PowerPuff Girls were. It doesn't matter that superfans fall for their advertisements, you're not gonna find an R rated Lego move- even if all the people attending forget to bring their kids anyways.
