Huh. I looked it up and apparently there are 3!
Barbie has three younger sisters who are currently the primary focus of her family: Skipper, Stacie, and Chelsea. Skipper Roberts, the first of Barbie's sisters introduced, was initially released as an 8-year-old in 1964 but was later reimagined as a 14-year-old teenager...

Stacie Roberts, introduced as Kelly in 1990 and renamed in 1992, is portrayed as an 11-year-old, sporty, and competitive pre-teen who has her own line of sports-themed dolls.

Chelsea Roberts, originally known as Kelly in 1995 and renamed in 2011, is Barbie's youngest sister, approximately 6 to 7 years old, and is known for her curiosity and creativity

They really wanted to make Kelly work 😆

Nobody would name a kid Chelsea in the late 50's/early 60's. Names are generational (Chelsea Clinton was born later)

You made me curious so I looked that up too! Apparently it was first used in the US as a boys name! Then switched to being a girsl name and then it gained popularity in the 1960s.

"The name transitioned from a geographical designation to a given name in the 19th century, initially used for boys in the New England region of the United States by the late 18th century and first used for American girls in the 1840s.
Its popularity for girls surged in the United States in the late 1960s, primarily due to American comedian Chelsea Brown, who gained prominence on the television show Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In."

Huh, I grew up in the 90s and knew the little sister as Shelly, not Kelly (nor Chelsea). I wonder if it's a localization thing?

...ok, a very quick Google search tells me she was indeed named Shelly in Europe and Canada, possibly due to copyright issues.

Also I remember a fourth sister which was a baby, named Krissy. Apparently she only existed for four years and then was discontinued. The article about her on the Barbie wiki (which I just found out is a thing) starts with "Krissy Roberts was Barbie's baby sister", which makes it sound like she died.
