OP clearly means too old for this specific role (in their opinion), not that 30 means you've got one foot in the grave.

But Barbie has always been pretty flexible when it comes to age, though? She's canonically had careers that require spending a long time in college and getting degrees for just as much as she's had "young" roles like a cheerleader or babysitter. She's like an actor herself. I don't think having a 35 year old actor to play as a fluid character like that is ill-fitting.

I'm just responding to the point you made in general, not have an argument or debate. There's no way to talk to OP directly because they're anonymous. If the OP wants to respond to the replies, they can do that and title the subject with "OP" or however the etiquette goes.
