I enjoyed s1, s2 just made me angry because it was so bad and just dumb. Not fun bad and dumb though. I also tried the books but no thank you. I just really enjoyed the fic that s1 (and selective bits from future seasons) inspired.

I'm guessing you mean the bard. Understandable. I found his in show character a mix of annoying, embarrassing, and loveable but I really got into the fandom versions of the characyers.

I genuinely couldn’t tell you what happened in season 2 tbh, I found it that forgettable and dull despite the fact that I thought season 1 was fun. But hey ho I wasn’t that upset, I just didn’t watch season 3.

Yeah, I couldn’t stand him and I knew the fandom was all over him so even if I had been interested in the fic I would never have had a good time anyway. So it bypassed me as a fandom for multiple reasons lol.
